Eave (now HomeLight HomeLoans) is working to create a mortgage for today’s buyers. Eaves' approach of modernizing the process made it easy for borrowers to know what to expect each step of the way while offering complete transparency in the mortgage process.
With each closed loan, Eave donated money to families in need in India.
My goal was to make getting a mortgage approachable. Friends, family, and applicants all seemed to have had disappointing and frustrating experiences applying for a mortgage with big banks. I took this to heart and created an experience of excitement and joy to match the milestone of buying a home. Customers also loved using Eave as their lender because their happiness and joy about getting their dream home also helped a family in need.
Eave also built its own proprietary loan origination software. While at Eave, I worked closely with loan processors and underwriters to understand their needs. Together we built a utility system that helped them to be more efficient at their jobs and closing more loans in half the time. In 2019, Eave was acquired by HomeLight to help further its vision of becoming a one-stop shop for homeownership.
